We are looking for a skilled and qualified candidate to join as a Line Cook in our restaurant.
You will be responsible for cooking delicacies for our customers. The main aim of this role is to provide Mexican cuisines to our customers.
You will also be responsible for managing the pantry and training the junior staff. You should ensure that all the meals are well prepared under proper hygiene conditions.

Keep workstations and the cooking space clean.
Train the junior staff accordingly.
Ensure all the ingredients are fresh and timely available.
Maintain the quality and standard of the meals.
Prepare ingredients and other types of equipment.
Chop and cut vegetables before actually preparing the meal
Make sure the presentation of the dish being served is good.
Store the ingredients in a proper hygienic way
Ensure the utensils and cutlery are properly sanitized before use.
Prepare the dishes according to the customer’s requirements.
A degree from a culinary school is preferred yet not required.
George Brown Student, preferred yet not required.
High School Diploma will also be considered
Experience as a Cook in a restaurant, Chef, or a similar position in the Hospitality Industry.
Knowledge of grills and other cooking procedures
Proficient in cutting and chopping fruits and vegetables.
